She has taught voice lessons of both classical and musical theatre genres in central Massachusetts and Boston well as the Monadnock Region of New Hampshire. Mrs. Ciccarello has worked professionally as a choir director at Church of the Nativity in her hometown of Northborough Massachusetts and as a voice coach with the Boston City Singers.

As a vocal pedagogue Mrs. Ciccarello believes in the importance of not only singing, but also building vocal longevity through healthy singing habits. It is her belief that through music an individual will receive tools and skills that are necessary to build a successful and prosperous life. When given skills of basic musicianship students develop self-discipline, coordination and dexterity, self-esteem, thinking and listening skills, and creative expression. She believes that music education is essential to the growth of an individual.

Mrs. Ciccarello’s teaching style is heavily based on a foundation of physiological knowledge of the voice. She believes that through instruction based on function a healthy and sustainable voice can be cultivated. Along with care of the voice through healthy voice habits, a singer can ensure a long life of healthy singing.

In the classroom she works to engage singers in a variety of exercises crafted for his or her learning style and leading serious musical study while inspiring love and enjoyment of music performance.
