Hard to believe another school year is coming to a close! On Monday, June 3, we had our last assembly of the year, the End of Year Convocation. Students of the quarter, volunteers of the month and teachers of the month were recognized, and teachers nominated one student from each of their classes to receive recognition, not always for grades but also for upholding the Code of Conduct.
Our very first graduating class was acknowledged and applauded; we’ll miss them next year! Several of the seniors won awards for their outstanding Senior Projects. We also had a number of seniors who are NH Scholars, and they received medals that will be worn with their caps and gowns at graduation.
We remembered moments and events from over the course of the year, and heard a few amazing performances by the Jazz band and Chorus 4 classes.
And last but not least some of our teachers bid goodbye to the seniors with a performance of "So Long, Farewell" from the Sound of Music.
