Founders-AyaThe Founders Academy Public Charter School is delighted to announce that student Aya A. was selected as a 2021 Nice Catch Winner by Northeast Credit Union!

The “Nice Catch--Celebrating Kind Kids” initiative was created to recognize New Hampshire and Maine kids who consistently demonstrate compassion, empathy and kindness toward their peers, teachers, coaches, family and other community members and go above and beyond to make our communities kinder and brighter places.

“Aya’s school spirit and generosity represents the character of a Founders student. Aya consistently goes above and beyond to help her peers, creates cards for all her teachers, and goes out of her way to say hello to you in the hallway. These are only three examples out of many that I could give, in which Aya represents the Founders Mission,” said Emily O’Reilly, Founders Academy School Counselor who nominated the rising 7th grader.

To celebrate her accomplishment, Aya is invited to attend the Saturday, August 28th New Hampshire Fisher Cats Game where she will be celebrated on the field for a special recognition ceremony! On behalf of everyone at The Founders Academy, congratulations to Aya and thank you for being such a great role model!

The Founders Academy is a public charter school for students in grades 6 through 12 that is free and open to all New Hampshire students. The Academy develops leaders who understand and apply the lessons of the past, demonstrate exceptional character and lead by example. The Academy recognizes the importance of balance in the development of the whole person, and respects each student's journey.

Principled leadership is fostered by means of a curriculum of classical studies that includes analyzing the lives of great men and women of history, mining the rich classical ideals of the Western tradition, and tracing the evolution of the precious and costly idea of liberty.

The Founders Academy is currently accepting applications for the 2021-2022 school year. To learn more about The Founders Academy or to apply for admission, visit www.thefoundersacademy.org.
