Description: Our chapter here at The Founders Academy is a registered affiliate of the National Honor Society across the country in all fifty states. Chapter membership not only recognizes students for their accomplishments, but challenges them to further reach their potential through active involvement in school activities and community engagement. Membership in the National Honor Society challenges students to become better students, citizens and active participants in society.

Description: The Founders Academy’s chapter of the National Junior Honor Society is a duly chartered and affiliated chapter of this prestigious national organization. Membership is open to students in grades 6-9 who meet the required standards in five areas of evaluation: scholarship, leadership, service, citizenship, and character. Standards for selection are established by the national office of NJHS and have been revised to meet our local chapter needs. Students are selected to be members by a 6-member Faculty Council, which bestows this honor upon qualified students on behalf of the faculty of our school. There is no right to membership. It is a privilege bestowed upon a student by the faculty of the school.

Description: The International Thespian Society recognizes students who have exhibited excellence in theatre and want to participate in elevating their theatre department for those that come after them. Students assist with productions, planning, and fundraising.

Description: A Tri-M Music Society chapter opens up a world of opportunities for students who have already shown themselves to be academically and musically gifted. Through performance and community service., they’ll develop confidence, creativity, critical thinking, compassion, and a host of other leadership skills sure to serve them well in school and beyond.
