Gerrit Morse
Teacher, English
B.A., English - Teacher Certification (5-12), Plymouth State University
Greetings! My name is Gerrit Morse, and this is my third year of realizing my goal of teaching English to amazing high school students!
I teach American Literature II, Logic, Rhetoric, High School Composition, Creative Writing, and English II. In the past I’ve taught US Literature I, World Literature, and Graphic Novel Writing. In the summer I teach Archery and Tomahawk Throwing at YMCA Camp Pa-Gon-Ki. In my quest, I have served as a Paraprofessional at BHS and Camp Counselor at the NWPNH Young Writers’ Institute, where I was able to convince an aspiring novelist to keep writing, which I consider among my greatest accomplishments in my career as an educator, so far.
I am a positive and motivated person, and I am excited to help students develop their work ethics! I was among the top 20 of my graduating class, while student teaching, while serving as a Community Advisor in the dorms, while copy-editing Middle High School Voices 2019. As I engage with my goals, I am eager to help students to reach theirs.
Are you ready?
Let’s make it a great year!
