Garrett Morse

Teacher, English

B.A., English - Teacher Certification (5-12), Plymouth State University

Greetings! My name is Gerrit Morse, and this is my fifth year of realizing my goal of teaching English to amazing high school students!

I teach American Literature I, II, and Logic and Rhetoric. In the past I’ve taught Graphic Novel Writing, High School Composition, English II, and World Literature. In the summer I teach Archery at YMCA Camp Pa-Gon-Ki. In my quest, I have served as a Paraprofessional at BHS and Camp Counselor at the NWPNH Young Writers’ Institute, where I was able to convince an aspiring novelist to keep writing, which I consider among my greatest accomplishments in my career as an educator, so far.

I am a positive and motivated person, and I am excited to help students develop their work ethics! I was among the top 20 of my graduating class, while student teaching, while serving as a Community Advisor in the dorms, while copy-editing Middle High School Voices 2019. As I engage with my goals, I am eager to help students to reach theirs.

Are you ready?

Let’s make it a great year!
