Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education with a concentration in Social Studies.


Mr. Hazen Dauphinee is from Bradley, Maine. It is a small town next to the famous Old Town, where many canoes are made and shipped around the world! Bradley is also very close to the City of Bangor, an inspiration for many of Stephen King's scary stories!

After graduating from the University of Maine in Presque Isle, Mr. Dauphinee ventured west to teach in Phoenix, Arizona to teach 6th Grade English Language Arts and Social Studies with 6th graders. Mr. Dauphinee soon realized that he missed the weather and family back home so he headed back to New England. Teaching throughout his home state of Maine in Blue Hill on the coast to Jackman on the border of Canada, Mr. Dauphinee expanded his experiences in coaching, tutoring, and teaching other subjects such as math and science. He then moved to New Hampshire where he taught at the Deerfield Middle School before working at The Founders Academy - this year will be his fifth year at TFA.

Mr. Dauphinee has many hobbies including - Fly-fishing, archery, fencing, golf, drawing, and has been dabbling with painting. Fun Fact: He is half way done with the edits from his first manuscript!
