Teacher, Mathematics

A.S. Computer Engineering Technology, NHTI

Mr. Dlubac was born and raised in NH. Growing up, he enjoyed taking apart electronics, building model rockets and planes and was encouraged by his family.

In 1992, Mr. Dlubac graduated from NHTI with an Associate of Applied Science in Computer Engineering. After graduations, he began substitute teaching at his old high school Pembroke Academy as a substitute teacher and quickly developed the teaching "bug." For the next 12 years, he held positions as paraprofessional, long & full time substitute teacher and ultimately taught high school math through Honors Geometry. He began the Alt IV certification process with the NH Dept. of Education.

In 2004 he changed his career path and moved to Manchester Community College and stayed for almost 17 years first as a recruiter and then as a Registration & Technology Specialist. As a recruiter, he visited high schools in New England to teach students how MCC could benefit them. In the Registrar’s Office he assisted the Registrar with processing in the system database and had a focus on reporting to the Veteran’s Administration benefits used by veterans and their families using Veterans Educational Benefits.

Mr. Dlubac lives in Manchester with his wife and has one child, two nieces and a young brother-in-law he enjoys spending as much time with. He loves and is good at blending and creating different styles of cuisine. He also spends time outdoors - fishing, camping, hiking etc. He was taught to read music in middle school while learning to play the trumpet; and he then was able to learn the keyboard, Irish Whistles and acoustic guitar. He is constantly learning new musical instruments, recently adding bass guitar and electric guitar to his collection.

Mr. Dlubac is looking forward to his second year at Founders where his focus will be continuing to help his students develop their math and (most importantly) learning skills.
