Ms. Renda has been an exhibiting artist for over 30 years from New York City, NY to Newry, ME and lots of museums and galleries in between.

Before joining The Founders Academy, she was the Art Teacher and the Interim Administrative Director at Coastal Waters Chartered Public School. Ms. Renda previously spent time as the Creative Arts Director at Austin17House, where she developed the Creative Arts Showcase for the Visual Arts, Music and Theatre programs along with showcasing other center opportunities.

Ms. Renda is certified in Mental Health Through the Arts and has a background working with youth and adults in Therapeutic Arts. She has been a volunteer for American Foundation for Suicide Prevention for 15 years, raising awareness, tabling events and facilitating informational and training programs for Youth and Adults. She is also a Youth Mental Health First Aid Instructor.

Along with creating art, Ms. Renda enjoys spending time with her 3 children and 3 dogs, playing the piano, performing in theatrical productions and trips to Disney World.
