Colleen Vurgaropulos

Teacher, Health, Physical Education

I’m excited to join the 6th grade team as the Health and PE teacher this year. This is my second year at The Founders Academy, and I’ve loved being part of this community. Before Founders, I spent ten years working as a paraeducator in New Hampshire, and I studied Early Childhood and Elementary Education at Middlesex Community College and Fitchburg State.

I’ve been married for 23 years and have two awesome kids, ages 16 and 19, plus two dogs, Gunny and Cami. I’m also a swim coach and have led a varsity team for the past six seasons—coaching is one of my biggest passions.
