Recreation and Leisure Clubs
Minecraft Club
Advisor: Ms. Anoli
Meeting time: Thursdays 3:15 to 4:30
Come play the popular game that features blocks, creatures and communities! The Founders Academy computers can be utilized for Minecraft as the school will provide Minecraft accounts for those who do not have it. Students may log into their personal accounts on the school computers or bring a personal computer to play.
Crafting Club
Advisor: Ms. Spain
Meeting time: Tuesdays 3:30-4:30
Bring out your creative side! We’ll share ideas and provide new ways for students to create interesting crafts.
History Club - 5th Grade
Advisor: Mr. Manning
Meeting time: Wednesdays 3:15-4:30
Go beyond your 5th Grade class and investigate fascinating topics within History and Mythology! Through reading, discussion and videos (PG-rating or less) we will delve into exciting subjects that will bring out thought-provoking ideas and opinions.
Dungeons & Dragons Club
Advisor: Mr. Morse
Meeting time: Wednesdays from 3:15-4:30
Description: Come join and play this classic fantasy role playing game! Create unique characters and generate exciting mythical adventures in a fictional world!
Swiftie Club
Advisor: Ms. Hermandinger
Meeting time: Wednesdays 3:15-4:30
We will listen to Taylor Swift, make friendship bracelets, track friendship bracelets, talk about events and predictions.
Running / Walking Club
Advisors: Mr. Morse
Meeting time: Thursdays 3:15-4:30
Build a routine! Go at your own pace! The Running / Walking Club invites all students to get outside and walk and / or run around the Founders building. Come join us for some exercise after a day of school.
Sewing Club
Advisors: Ms. Nichols
Meeting time: Tuesdays 3:30-4:30
This club welcomes new and experienced sewers. We will be learning how to sew by hand and with machines to create a wide variety of projects.

Gardening Club
Advisor: Mr. Morse
Meeting time: Fridays from 3:20-4:20pm

Do you want to learn how to keep your cool green leafy plant alive? Do you like to garden or plant? Well, the Gardening Club might be the club for you! We welcome anyone interested in learning how or more about gardening.
Cold War Club
Advisor:
Meeting time: Tuesdays 3:20-4:20
Room 148
Cold War Club is an in-depth look at the second war. The club will focus on leadership, strategy, specific battles and soldier stories. On a typical day, a club meeting will consist of discussion, maps, lectures, documentaries and movies. Students are encouraged to do their own research and presentations to share with the club.
Jewelry Making Club
Advisor:
Meeting time: Fridays 3:15 to 4:00
Room 210
In this club we will be raising money for charity, making jewelry, playing games and having fun. The charity organization is Families in Transition. I will provide all of the supplies unless asked to bring in some.
Students will have supplies but are very limited.
