      <title>Upcoming College Fairs</title>
      <description>&lt;p&gt;The New England Association for College Admission Counselors is hosting two college fairs. The first is being held at Keene State College on Tuesday, May 22, 2018 from 9:00 am to 11:00 am.
The second is being held at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center on Thursday, April 12, 2018 from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm and 6:00 pm to 8:30 pm as well as Friday, April 13, 2018 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
Pinkerton Academy is also hosting a college fair on Thursday, April 12, 2018 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

      <title>UNH College Fair, College Access Convention &amp; Save the Dates</title>
      <description>&lt;p&gt;Looking for something to do this evening? Interested in attending a college fair on the University of New Hampshire's campus? Then look no further! The New England Association for College Admissions Counseling is hosting a college fair tonight, October 2, 2017 from 6-8:00 pm.
This event will take place at the Lundholm Gymnasium, Field House on the University of New Hampshire campus in Durham. For additional college fairs, a list of attending colleges or for more information, please visit the NEACAC website.  The Student Services Department is planning to take all current Juniors to the ​College Access Convention on Friday, October 27, 2017. Field trip permission forms and more information will be sent home soon!   ​
​ Save the Dates: The Founders Academy will be hosting an Early College Planning presentation on Thursday, December 14, 2017 at 6:00 pm. All families are welcome to attend but the presentation is geared towards families of Freshmen &amp; Sophomores. We will also be hosting a College Overview for Juniors presentation on Thursday, February 8, 2018. This evening will be specifically designed for Juniors and their parents/guardians. These events will be presented by the NH Higher Education Assistance Foundation's Center for College Planning.  &lt;/p&gt;</description>

      <title>Trade-Technical School Fair</title>
      <description>&lt;p&gt; We are excited to announce that we will be hosting our first Technical-Trade School Fair on Wednesday, March 28, 2018 from 8:15 am to 10:15 am for our High School students. We’ve invited a variety of trade and technical school programs from New Hampshire as well as all branches of the United States military. We are so pleased to be able to provide this opportunity for our students. 
We also have plans to put together a Career Fair for our Middle School students in the near future. We hope to invite family members, friends and partners of the Founders Academy to share information about their occupation with our students. Stay tuned for the date on that upcoming fair!&lt;/p&gt;</description>

      <title>Technical-Trade School Fair Update</title>
      <description>&lt;p&gt;On Wednesday, March 28 the Student Services Department hosted our first Technical-Trade School Fair. A variety of programs and schools were represented including the US Navy, Coast Guard and Marines, the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard, the American Red Cross, Elliott Hospital, The Thompson School of Applied Science, Empire Beauty School, NH School of Mechanical Trades and the NH Real Estate School. The students mingled amongst the reps, asking questions, and exploring their options for post-secondary education and training. The student’s feedback was positive and we look forward to hosting this type of fair again next year.&lt;/p&gt;</description>

      <title>More College Visits</title>
      <description>&lt;p&gt;On Thursday, October 26, a College Admissions Representative from Plymouth State University will be here to talk with interested High School Students during second and third lunches. On Tuesday, October 31, New England College will be here and on Tuesday, November 7, both Thomas Moore and Manchester Community Colleges will be here. We hope students will take these opportunities to speak with them to learn more about their programs! Often times, the College Admission Representatives who visit high schools are the same reps who review student's college applications. We will remind students of these visits during morning announcements.&lt;/p&gt;</description>

      <title>Manchester School of Technology CTE Program</title>
      <description>&lt;p&gt;The Manchester School of Technology is still accepting applications for the 2-year CTE Program. Such programs are available to Founders Academy sophomores, juniors and seniors. If your student in interested in applying, please complete the application and return to MST as soon as possible, as spots fill-up quickly. Founders Academy is currently working with MST and the Manchester Bus Company to provide busing to MST from Founders for the afternoon session.       <description>&lt;p&gt; The Center for College Planning will also be hosting a Destination College annual college convention for Juniors and their parents at Southern New Hampshire University on Saturday, April 7, 2018 from 8:30 am to 2:30 pm. 
 “This event is designed to help high school Juniors and their families prepare for entry into college. This annual statewide college preparation convention is held every spring through collaborative efforts between The NHHEAF Network Organizations and New Hampshire colleges and universities. All of the day's events are FREE to students and parents.       <title>College Overview for Juniors Presentation</title>
      <description>&lt;p&gt; The Student Services Department will be hosting a College Overview for Juniors on Thursday, February 8, 2018 in the upper cafeteria starting at 6:00 pm. Val Castonguay from the New Hampshire Higher Education Assistance Foundation’s Center for College Planning will be here to discuss how to narrow down and create a list of colleges, questions to ask on a college tour, college essay pointers, the application timeline, and the basics of financial aid.  This program is free, open to the public and no RSVP is required.  We encourage all Founders Academy high school juniors to attend however, all students and families are welcome. If you are not able to attend but are interested in learning about this program, feel free to view a PDF of the presentation, watch a previously recorded webinar or attend another presentation Most evening presentations are open to the public.
