Dean Mooney's remarks for National Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day:
"May I have your attention, please.
National Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day is held annually on December 7.
This day is to remember the victims of the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor, in Hawaii, during World War II in 1941. That day, 2,403 American service men and women, as well as civilians, lost their lives; and 1,178 were injured.
President Franklin Roosevelt referred to this day as a 'date which will live in infamy.' Let's pause to stand now for a moment of silence to remember the men, women and children who died at Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941."
