I have  been a lifelong learner and have taken on various roles as an educator. At SNHU I completed an MBA with a concentration in School Business Administration. I completed a doctoral program at the University of Sarasota in Educational Leadership in 2002.

I have taught all levels of math and physical science in New Hampshire high schools. In addition to teaching in NH, I taught in the IB program in Ecuador, Kuwait, Bangkok and Rome. My last teaching position was in the ConVal School District where I taught AP chemistry and was the K-12 science department head.

As an administrator, the work I do with teachers has been the aspect of education I find most rewarding, especially when it results in better outcomes for students.  Working with staff, especially around curriculum, I strive to build shared understanding and cohesive alignment of all aspects of teaching and learning.

I enjoy traveling.  I have visited many places, including trips to Australia, China, India, Iceland as well as much of Europe, South America and the Caribbean. I have a deep appreciation for the fine arts and have visited museums far and wide. I follow baseball as a New York Yankees fan—a holdover from being born and raised in New Jersey. I take advantage of my location in the Monadnock region to hike, camp and kayak with my husband when time allows
