Governance

Welcome to The Founders Academy Public Charter School information page for the Board of Trustees. The Board of Trustees is charged with governance of The Founders Academy.  The Board composition has several original founding members of the school, external business community members, and parents of children attending our school. 

We currently have ex-officio (non-voting) members: the Dean of School, a student representative, and a faculty representative.

The Founders Academy Board of Trustees meets on the third Wednesday of each month at 6:30pm. Our meetings are open to the Public and we welcome your participation. We have Board designated committees that hold public meetings during the academic year:

• Finance
• Outreach
• Policy
• Personnel
• Curriculum
• Parent Advisory Committee

Please join us at a meeting in the near future. All dates and times for Board and Committee meetings are posted on our academic calendar.
