About The Founders Academy Public Charter School
On July 18, 2013 The Founders Academy Foundation presented to the NH State Board of Education (BOE) its application seeking approval to open "The Founders Academy Public Charter School." The charter application was approved and granted to create and open the proposed school.
The Founders Academy has opened its doors to students for the first time on September 2, 2014, for the 2014-2015 school year.
Founders' curriculum focuses on student character and a classical education, including studies in history, leadership, ethics, debate, business and finance, classical literature as well as the standard high school curriculum of math, science, languages, and the arts.
Students will study the thinking and values of the American Founders and other great philosophers of liberty. This historical foundation in principles and values will form young people with the knowledge, character, and vision to become 21st Century leaders.
