5th Grade STEM Teacher


The Founders Academy, a free charter public middle and high school in Manchester, New Hampshire is seeking a 5th Grade Science and Mathematics teacher for the 2025-2026 academic year. The ideal candidate will be invested in The Founders Academy as a member of the staff, providing engaging opportunities for students to learn, and contributing to the culture and climate of the school community in a positive and meaningful way. This is a permanent full-time position.

Qualifications  
• Support for and engagement in the school’s mission
• Investment in student success
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• New Hampshire state teaching certification preferred
• Previous experience preferred
• Knowledge of curriculum development preferred

Responsibilities 
• Plan and implement engaging content specific lessons
• Assess student growth
• Communicate clearly and consistently with families
• Provide feedback to students
• Work with our special education team to design differentiated learning experiences
• Develop curriculum
• Work with administration to uphold and support all school policies and procedures
• Other school duties assigned to help maintain a safe and orderly school environment

Dean of Students


The Founders Academy, a free charter public middle and high school in Manchester, New Hampshire is seeking a Dean of Students for the 2025-2026 academic year. This position will include a strong emphasis on furthering the mission of the school. The ideal candidate will be invested in The Founders Academy as a member of the staff, providing behavioral and academic support for students, and contributing to the culture and climate of the school community in a positive and meaningful way. This is a permanent full-time year round position.

Qualifications
• Support for and engagement in the school’s mission
• Investment in student success
• Ability to establish strong relationships with students
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• New Hampshire state teaching certification preferred
• Previous school administrative experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Communicate the mission in motion to all stakeholders 
• Execute projects to make the mission more visible throughout the building 
• Create assemblies, grade level/house meetings/events, pep rallies
• Teach/lead mission lessons at grade level meetings 
• Develop a cohort of student leaders to assist in the execution of mission initiatives
• Help bring/connect community resources to the student body
• Support staff by providing mission related training
• Provide behavioral intervention and support to students
• Provide academic support to students
• Support administration in whatever ways necessary to ensure student success
• Teach 1 full year course per academic year (4 hours per week)

Founded in 2014, The Founders Academy is a free public charter school for grades 5-12 located at 5 Perimeter Road in Manchester. The school's mission focuses on the virtues of the Founding Fathers, leadership, character building, classical and challenging education in the core subjects and elective courses. Established by the Founders Academy Foundation, the school offers the opportunity for each student to pursue mastery in their studies.
