At The Founders Academy
Para-Educator
The Founders Academy Public Charter School, grades 5-12, is seeking an experienced middle / high school para-educator with a passion for helping students to succeed. The mission of the school is to develop educated citizens and leaders who are knowledgeable about our past and who will apply the principles expressed in our founding documents to make wise choices to preserve our liberty while preparing students to use the 21st century skills to compete in the society we live in.
The para-educator performs a variety of instructional and/or support duties to assist the school and teachers in instruction, supervision, and education of students with special needs. May work with students on an individual basis or in small groups to help complete assigned work and keep students on task.
The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic team player who has a high school diploma, two or more years of college preferred, and who has experience working with students in a middle or high school setting.

5th/6th Grade STEM Teacher
The Founders Academy, a free charter public middle and high school in Manchester, New Hampshire seeks a 5th/6th Grade STEM Teacher. The ideal candidate will be invested in The Founders Academy and provide a wide array of opportunities for students to learn.
This is a permanent full-time position available for the 2022-23 school year.
Qualifications
Familiarity with the school’s mission
Investment in student success
Bachelor’s Degree
Previous experience preferred
Knowledge of curriculum development preferred
Responsibilities
Plan and implement content specific lessons
Give feedback to students
Assess student growth
Communicate with parents
Develop curriculum
Other duties as assigned
Conclusion
Teaching experience, a passion for the subject, and the ability to work well in a collaborative environment are desirable. This is an excellent opportunity for a creative teacher to assist in the development of an innovative curriculum according to his or her own gifts and interests. Familiarity with the school's mission and vision is essential. Salary is between $40,000-$45,000 per year. Internships
An internship at The Founders Academy provides excellent exposure to a fast-paced, professional, academic environment for those interested in a career in teaching and / or school administration.
The Founders Academy seeks individuals interested in unpaid internships to assist with school administration. Interns will work with school administrators, teachers and students in the daily affairs of a charter school dedicated to leadership, history and liberty. Proficiency on Windows, Word, and Google Docs, along with excellent interpersonal skills and professional confidentiality are required.
Position is subject to reference and background checks. Scheduling is flexible.

Founded in 2014, The Founders Academy is a free public charter school for grades 5-12 located at 5 Perimeter Road in Manchester. The school's mission focuses on the virtues of the Founding Fathers, leadership, character building, classical and challenging education in the core subjects and elective courses. Established by the Founders Academy Foundation, the school offers the opportunity for each student to pursue mastery in their studies.
