Michelle Smith is a seasoned, licensed school counselor who is originally from Dorchester, MA but has resided in southern New Hampshire for the last 18 years.

Mrs. Smith was the Director of Academic Support at Boston Latin School, her alma mater, for many years. She was Licensed School Counselor at Haverhill High School in Massachusetts, an Office Administrator at Community Christian Academy in Lowell, and over the last 25 years has held positions in many different schools.

Mrs. Smith’s favorite part of being a school counselor is helping students find and pursue their passions! High school is such a pivotal time in an adolescent’s life. She enjoys walking alongside students and parents as they navigate all the mountaintops and valleys of this process. She is a problem solver and cheerleader!

Mrs. Smith is a mom of two- a high school boy and middle school (Founders Academy) girl. Recently the Smiths added a mini bernedoodle named Lucy to their family.

Mrs. Smith is a big fan of Parks and Recreation, The Office, New Kids on the Block and can often be found quoting Leslie Knope, Dwight Schrute or doing karaoke and dancing in the halls.
